   Born at Casablanca in 1948, Belaïd is drawing since his boyhood. After 30 years in  Paris, studying draw, painting, sculpture and photography at the "academy of plastic arts" of "la Garenne Colombes" (92), at "la Grande Chaumière and at "academy Frochot" in Paris. He is now back in Morocco and installed at Essaouira.
